About Us

Dallas Baptist University is a comprehensive Christ-centered university dedicated to producing servant leaders through the integration of faith and learning. With its main campus located in the foothills of southwest Dallas, and regional academic centers in Plano and Hurst-Colleyville, DBU offers 69 undergraduate majors, 24 master’s programs in a variety of fields, including 49 Dual Master's Degree Programs, two doctoral degree programs, and 32 accelerated Bachelor's and Master's Degree Programs. DBU provides nationally recognized programs in adult education and online education. DBU has also been ranked #1 in the nation for elementary teacher preparation and #2 in the State for secondary teacher preparation by the National Council on Teacher Quality.

DBU’s regional academic center in Plano serves residents of the Collin and North Dallas Counties. At DBU North, you can not only hear more about DBU’s undergraduate and graduate programs, apply for admission, receive academic counseling, register for classes, and make tuition payments, but you can also attend undergraduate or graduate classes as you work towards the completion of your degree. DBU North offers a full rotation of classes leading to the completion of undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Management, Psychology, and Communication, as well as graduate degrees in Business Administration (MBA), Management (MAM), Education (MED), School Counseling (MEDSC), and Counseling (MAC).
