Plano Civic Chorus Presents "Basically Haydn"
Sheer excitement, beauty, and classical elegance come together in Haydn's last major choral work, Harmoniemesse. Haydn's critics at the time were sure he was void of any new musical ideas but this great mass surprised tham all! The concert also features Haydn's delightful TE Deum No. 2, composed for Maria Theresa, and two audience favorites from Haydn's friend and colleague, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!.
Featuring soloists Haley Sicking, Brooke Gibson, Alex Bumpas, Brandon Gibson, and accompanied by the Plano Symphony Orchestra.
