About Us

St. Timothy Christian Academy (STCA) exists to support families and education students with learning differences in a redemptive Christian environment, helping them realize their full potential as a child of God. Our student/teacher ratio is low; this allows us to individualize instruction for students. Our certified teaching professionals provide a multi-sensory learning environment in all core classes, as well as Bible, Art, Technology and Adaptive P.E. Social skills are an integral part of the educational program, as is a focus on emotional regulation. Our staff incorporates social skills and emotional regulation in all that we do. We also have Speech and Dyslexia therapists on staff.

STCA was founded in 2006 by the late Dr. Paul Warren, a nationally renowned behavioral pediatrician, along with the leaders of Christ Church Plano. They wanted to provide a school for families with children who needed a school that fit their unique needs. Dr. Warren had a vision of a school . . .
