Valeria Strappa is Chief Administrative Officer for the global payments acceptance and merchant acquiring business of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Before joining JPMC, Valeria served as the client management and strategy head for the Institutional Clients Group at Citi Latin America. Prior to this role, she worked for GE Consumer Finance in Latin America as the head of the mortgage business. Before joining GE, Valeria worked for McKinsey & Co. Valeria has been selected by Forbes as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in Mexico in 2017.
Valeria holds a Bachelor of in Industrial Engineering from ITESM and an MBA degree from Duke University. She also attended Harvard Business School and INSEAD as part of the International Women´s Foundation Leadership Program.
Italian by background and born in Argentina, she lived in Mexico for 18 years and Miami for 4 years before accepting her position in Dallas with JPMC.
