MK is the Founder and President of GradPath LLC. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. She is the proud mother of two daughters who are Plano Senior High graduates and will graduate from MIT and UT Southwestern Medical School in 2019. MK was honored with the 2015 Texas PTA Extended Life Member Award for her 15 years of volunteer service in Plano ISD schools, including the organization of college financial aid and preparedness programs at Plano Senior High. She has taught career readiness and personal finance to AVID students through the Junior Achievement program, and is a Parent Connector (mentor) for MIT. She is also a proud member of Leadership Plano Class 36, and volunteers with the Plano Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, helping award scholarships to children of Plano Police officers.
