About Us
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful display gardens in North America, recently named ’15 most breathtaking gardens in the world', by Architectural Digest.
Located on the shores of White Rock Lake, this 66-acre garden has changeable displays four times a year with breathtaking color all year long.
The garden offers an array of popular seasonal events including Dallas Blooms, the largest floral festival in the Southwest, Autumn at the Arboretum with 90,000 pumpkins, Holiday at the Arboretum featuring dramatic 25-foot-tall glass gazebos accompanied by 500,000 lights based on the beloved carol, the popular Cool Thursdays outdoor concert series, programs for children, and the 8-acre world class Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden and A Tasteful Place, the 3.5-acre fruit and vegetable garden.
Ground-breaking horticultural research conducted in our Trial Gardens continues to contribute to an important body of knowledge, both regionally and nationally.
This urban oasis, just minutes from downtown Dallas, attracts over one million visitors to its finely manicured grounds. Whether visitors come for a weekly respite or from locations around the country or world, they will find the garden areas resplendent with seasonal plantings. The Arboretum is also a popular bridal photography spot and wedding destination with close to 300 weddings held in the gardens
Support for the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is provided by our members, donors and the Dallas Park and Recreation Department.
