Business & Leadership Coaching
You know what makes a great coach (other than experience)? Understanding what it feels like to face big challenges, make mistakes, and figure things out along the way. My path to success was definitely chaotic and messy. It started with a paper route at nine years old, where I learned my first lessons about business and responsibility (even if I was only making $1/hour). From there, life took me in unexpected but formative directions: studying history at Mizzou, developing leadership skills in the Air Force, and becoming a financial advisor.
Then came the real plot twist: at 25, I decided to start a digital agency with absolutely no marketing or technical background. What could have been my biggest weakness turned into my greatest strength. Because I couldn’t do everything myself, I had to learn how to build success through people, systems, and process. I discovered that sustainable growth isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating an environment where good people can do great work.
This approach shaped everything we built. Through focusing on strong foundations and empowering others, we grew something meaningful. More importantly, I learned lessons that now help other agency owners navigate their own unique journeys, avoiding the pitfalls I stumbled into while building on the practices that actually work.
