We are proud to announce our Third Annual Face Tomorrow Benefit to help victims of domestic abuse. This year we have paired with Collin County’s transformational home, Emily’s Place. Our partners are active in guiding survivors of domestic violence to true independence through counseling, vocational assistance, life-skill development, and education while in their safe, supportive environment. At Brobst Facial Plastic Surgery, we use the gifts we have to help the survivors who suffered facial trauma as a result of this violence. Through the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPRS) Face to Face domestic violence project, we provide reconstructive surgery at no cost. Last year, Dr. Brobst performed the most pro bono surgeries in Texas through the AAFPRS for this initiative.
Through this event, we hope to increase community awareness of the problem of domestic violence, continue to meet the needs of those who have survived, and prepare them mentally and physically for the future.
Our Third Annual Face Tomorrow Benefit is scheduled from 5-8pm on October 8th 2015. Food will be provided primarily by Kent Rathbun Concepts and Nothing Bundt Cakes with other local establishments making contributions. There will also be live music and auction items to bid on. All proceeds earned from this event will go directly to Emily’s Place and the Face to Face program.
