MPK College & Career Kickstart
Did you know…
…that 53% of college grads struggle to find financially sustainable jobs in their fields, or even any job at all? But there are steps students can take now, even while still in high school, to start them out on the right path—steps that a college education alone won’t provide.
MPK College & Career Kickstart is a weekend of 1-hour online workshops on August 20th & 21st where high school students and parents gain access to industry professionals to guide them in:
- College applications & scholarships
- Resumé creation
- College essay preparation
- Gaining Internships
- Athletic recruiting
- And much more
Low-income students can make a Scholarship Request using the same registration link.
The nonprofit event benefits MPK Teen Internships & Career Services, Plano’s longest-running and largest single-site program for high school internships and college and career services, serving hundreds of students each year. At MPK, teens gain professional experience while contributing to the greater good via our nationwide kids’ service clubs. MPKids (a.k.a., MISSION POSSIBLE KIDS) is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Plano, Texas.
