                                 Storybook Ranch Makes Halloween a Hauntingly Good Time

Storybook Ranch is the place for fun and fun is what’s in store for the upcoming Holidays. The season’s events will kick off with Halloween festivities that include Storybook’s Pumpkin Patch and Haunted Hayride through the Ghost Ranch. The fun starts Friday, September 30 and will run until Sunday, October 30. The Ranch is located at 3701 S. Custer Rd. in McKinney.

The Pumpkin Patch is a fun filled experience for the whole family. Kids can enjoy the Hay Maze, Pony Rides, a Petting Zoo, Bounce Houses and a Wagon Ride through the Ghost Ranch. Each child can end the day with a take home mini pumpkin. Hours are Sunday-Friday 10am- Sundown and Saturday 9am –Sundown. Costs are 1 child/ $15.00, 2/$25.00, 3-10 children/$11.00 each. Groups of 10 or more/$10.00 each. Parents are free. These times and rates are for daytime admission only. The Nighttime Pumpkin Patch begins at Sundown and costs $10.00 per child. (Does not include Haunted Hayride)
The Ghost Ranch is for the more adventurous with a chilling nighttime Haunted Hay Ride and Maze. Not for the faint of heart, this tour features narrations about zombies, people rising from the dead, ghouls, witches and vampires. It also includes the historic Ghost Town and all kinds of scary things that go BOO in the night. The goblins come out to play Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from October 1st thru the 29th from Sundown -10:30pm. The cost is $15.00 per person.
