Community Event: Free Prom Dress Giveaway at Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County - Plano

Local teens will have another chance to find their dream prom dress at the final shopping event of the 11th annual North Texas Prom Dress Drive, sponsored by Comerica Bank, a division of Fifth Third Bank, N.A. The 2026 Say Yes to the Dress event will take place Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County on Saturday, March 28.
 
Seven North Texas-area Comerica Banking Centers collected 700 new or gently used, formal dresses from the community in February. Donations benefit local teens from Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County, and Dallas CASA, who otherwise may not be able to afford formal attire and experience the high school tradition of prom.  
 
Comerica volunteers help set up each nonprofit’s prom boutique and assist teens while they search for their dream dress during the shopping events. Since 2015, Comerica has donated 8,090 dresses to Dallas CASA and Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County and Greater Dallas.
 
Drive partners Project Beauty will be providing makeup demonstrations and select a lucky winner from each benefitting nonprofit to receive a complimentary ultimate makeover (full hair and makeup) on Prom day! Faith in Action Initiatives also will donate makeup bags for each teen shopper.
