Announcing Cirque Du NTPA — Saturday, October 13
North Texas Performing Arts’ Willow Bend Center of the Arts
PLANO, TX — North Texas Performing Arts will host its annual family fundraising event on Saturday, October 13 from 7-11 PM at NTPA — Plano, Willow Bend Center of the Arts at The Shops at Willow Bend. This year’s theme is Cirque du NTPA.
Families will enjoy carny games, entertainment, dancing, food, and be entertained by internationally known magician, James Munton. A native of London, England, James is a magician who has performed at the White House multiple times, on Fox and ABC Morning News, and has been featured in articles in the Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal. Mr. Munton will perform both a full-length magic show and as a strolling magician. This act features amazing magic and mind reading, clean comedy and lots of audience participation.
James spent his formative years in the company of London’s cardsharpers learning how to be a card “mechanic.” A local magician steered his talents in a more honest direction and, following an apprenticeship in the art of legerdemain, James began performing professionally in 1993.
Since moving to the United States in 1997, James has used his entertaining, wholesome, family-oriented brand of magic to provide entertainment for corporations, organizations and at hundreds of private events.
Tickets to Cirque du NTPA are $35 each. All youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Game coupons are $1 each. Proceeds from the event will be used to underwrite NTPA programming, scholarships, and capital campaign needs.
For tickets, go to NTPA.org.
