2017 Annual Friends of the Plano Library Book Sale

Feed your book-reading and music-loving fantasies at the 34th annual Friends of the Plano Public Library Book Sale from Friday, Aug. 4 through Sunday, Aug. 6 at Plano Event Center, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway. A team of volunteers has carefully sorted nearly 100,000 hardbacks, paperbacks, DVDs, CDs and records at prices ranging from 25¢ to $2.

Friday's sale runs 6 to 10 p.m. with an admission fee of $5 for individuals and $10 for families. Members of the Friends of the Plano Public Library enjoy free, early admission at 5 p.m. on Friday, as well as a 10 percent discount on all purchases any day of the Book Sale. Admission is FREE for all on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. An extra Sunday incentive includes special pricing for all merchandise at $10 for a bag of books (and the Friends supply the bags)!

Net proceeds from the Book Sale benefit the Plano Public Library. You get great books and music at a bargain while helping the library provide new technology, resources and programs for everyone to enjoy. Happy shopping!
