PLANO, TX – May 9, 2023 – CityBridge Urgent Care, Powered by Watermark Health, in collaboration with Leadership Plano Class 39, is proud to host a free community health fair on Saturday, May 13th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at CityBridge Urgent Care, 910 W. Parker Rd., Suite 102, Plano, TX 75075. Complimentary transportation will be provided through a partnership with DART.
This marks the first collaboration between Leadership Plano and CityBridge Urgent Care, with the goal of promoting health and wellness in Collin County. The Health Fair will offer free health education and resources, empowering families to better access healthcare services in the area.
Attendees can benefit from free lab testing, mammograms, blood pressure screening, and sports physicals. Participating healthcare partners include Medical City Healthcare, Baylor Scott & White Health, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, and Children's Health. Additionally, the Credit Union of Texas food truck will provide free food at the family-friendly event, featuring bounce houses, face painting, and activities for children of all ages. Participants will also receive summer camp discounts and be entered into a raffle for a complimentary Plano Parks & Recreation Summer membership.
"We are excited to offer this free community health event to those in Collin County. Access to healthcare should not be dependent on one's zip code or resources. “Our goal is to make healthcare accessible for everyone," said Billy Whitson, Leadership Plano Committee Chair.
