DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, March 11\, Davis Library celebrates the Hindu Holi Festival. Also known as The Festival of Colors\, the celebration marks\, among other things\, the beginning of spring and the end of winter. \nThis year the library offers fun for everyone with storytellers\, crafts and the PeeWee Color Run where kids and families race around the pond throwing colored powder at friends\, family and strangers alike. The powder provided is washable\, but it's messy so please wear clothes you don't mind getting colorful. The program lasts from 2 to 4 p.m. and stations are both inside and outside the library\, weather permitting. The Color Run begins at 2:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to join in this cultural celebration!
