Prepare for a formal night of entertainment\, auctions\, raffles\, and dinner highlighting our community heroes\, program successes\, and organizational history serving thousands of domestic violence survivors in Collin and Dallas counties each year. \n\n \nThe 2026 Purple Tie Gala will be co-chaired by LaShon Ross and Russell E. Duckworth\, two North Texas leaders with extensive experience in public service\, business and community engagement. Ross has dedicated more than 37 years to public service\, including leadership roles as HR Director and Deputy City Manager for the City of Plano and HR Director for the City of Texarkana. With degrees in business administration and counseling\, she remains active in mentoring\, board service and volunteer work. Duckworth is Vice President of Interstate Business Capital\, where he specializes in accounts receivable financing\, factoring and asset-based lending for growing businesses. A Baylor University graduate\, elected public official and community leader\, he brings a relationship-driven approach to leadership\, finance and public service guided by his personal motto\, "Show Up."\n\n\n\nFunds raised will support programming offered to Hope's Door New Beginning Center clients providing safety\, healing\, advocacy and the prevention of domestic violence.
