DESCRIPTION:What is the North Texas Great Santa Run?\n\n	The North Texas Great Santa Run is a 5K run and 1 mile fun-walk\, where everyone can enjoy a multitude of festivities and gather with thousands of other people all dressed up like Jolly Old Saint Nick! We will have a live performance by Downtown Fever (an Emerald City Band) and a variety of different activities will be available for all members of the family to enjoy. From bounce houses and face painting to food trucks and back massages\, there is sure to be something fun for everyone!\n\n	Awards\n\n	Awards will be given for the Overall Race Winner - 18 and older  (Male and Female)\, Overall Race Winner - under 18 (Male and Female)\, Largest Team\, Best Dressed Pet\, Most Spirited Santa\, Best Dressed Santa\, and Best "Sleigh" (stroller\, wagon\, or wheel chair). \n\n	Have you ever wanted to be a part of a World Record Attempt? \n\n	Join us and be part of history as we attempt to form the largest Santa gathering in the world! We will be competing with other Santa Run locations\; including events in Liverpool\, Las Vegas\, Tasmania\, Hungary\, Canada\, Ireland and many more! Registration includes your very own 5-piece Santa suit to wear at the event and keep \n\n	Who does it benefit?\n\n	All proceeds from the event benefit My Possibilities\, a continued learning and vocational training program for adults with cognitive disabilities.
