DESCRIPTION:In November 2011 AFFECT\, Inc. reached out and was able to feed 25 families with a turkey\, and basket of canned goods and fresh vegetables. In 2012 AFFECT\, Inc. was able to reach out and provide a healthy thanksgiving meal (16lb-20lb turkey\, corn\, green beans\, bread\, stuffing\, mash potatoes\, macaroni and cheese\, and cranberry sauce) for 500 families across the Collin\, Dallas\, Denton and Kaufman counties.\n\n  \n\nOur goal for this year and going forward to help feed 1\,000+ families in the Collin\, Dallas\, Denton and Kaufman counties. In our desire to reach out to those who need assistance in developing a healthy lifestyle we have developed the Avenue F Family Health Center (AFFHC) to help meet the medical needs of those who are in dire necessity of seeing a physician. AFFHC provides low cost medical services to residents that live primarily in Collin County in the 75074 zip code. This collaborative effort with and Baylor Medical Center of Plano provides low cost medical services\, labs\, educational programs\, diabetes education\, exercise programs\, and medication assistance programs. The To help support this initiative we are reaching out to help feed 1\,000+ families a healthy thanksgiving meal (e.g.\, turkey\, fresh vegetables\, fresh fruits\, and canned items).
