Purpose of Job

The Digital Marketing Manager develops, executes, and delivers APCON’s digital marketing strategy, plans and budgets - including new media, web, SEO/SEM, and social media - to drive the business forward through key marketing channels.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the digital marketing team to manage online branding, communications and campaigns through the company website, mobile, email marketing, building the online community, attracting new customers, search engine optimization, and search marketing
  • Drives lead generation efforts and ensures appropriate support to correct performance within cost-effective targets
  • Proactively tracks campaign effectiveness in relation to marketing spend and key performance indicators; makes recommendations for and implements improvement where necessary
  • Designs, implements, optimizes, and measures customer experience journeys, marketing programs, and digital channels to drive customer engagement and revenue growth
  • Ensures completion of projects across site builds, online advertising, and social media, maximizing online sales opportunities and search marketing
  • Drives digital marketing best practices within the organization
  • Works with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and develop standards

Qualifications and Requirements 

  • 4+ years of digital marketing and content management experience
  • Strong integrated marketing communications and management skills, including agency management, research, analysis and strategy
  • Ability to build and manage effective teams
  • Strong project management skills: experience coordinating cross-functional teams, delivering results and meeting tight deadlines
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing
  • Experienced in lead generation through exceptional online marketing and advertising (including website marketing and management, push HTML email messaging, social media, mobile, viral, and SEO and SEM)
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Travel:  Occasionally, up to 25%

Physical Demands: To perform the duties of this position, you must have the ability to occasionally sit, stand, bend, twist, reach, carry, lift, pull, and push between 1-15 lbs.
